AIGA Cincinnati Awards CAM with Design Merit
CAM Design presented with award at the 2007 AIGA Origination Design Show and Competition
On May 24th, AIGA Cincinnati, a chapter of the national AIGA group whose mission is to advance design as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force, held its 2007 Origination Design Awards Show at The 20th Century Theater in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The evening, sponsored by HOW magazine and many others, opened with keynote speakers; such as Gordon Salchow from University of Cincinnati and Jerry Kathman, President and CEO of LPK. The goal of the competition was to identify and recognize work that truly embraces the process of design and personifies “originality”.
CAM Design was awarded with a design merit for their work on the Scott Stowell lobby graphics that were created for Columbus Society of Communicating Arts. Craig Murray, Owner and Creative Director of CAM Design said, “The entire event was great fun and a pleasure to attend. Winning in this design competition is something we are very happy with. We’re grateful for such an award and really enjoy the atmosphere of this organization and the general design community of Cincinnati.”
