7-Election
7-eleven is keeping track of their customers preferences this upcoming presidential election. Every time a person comes in for a cup of coffee, they can choose either a blue Obama cup or a red McCain cup to show their support for either of the candidates. By visiting the accompanying website, 7-election.com, customers can see support results by state.
It's a nice concept and simple in nature. However, I'm thinking it may be slightly partisan. The effort seems to be leaning more in Obama's favor since many states not shown on the site have 7-eleven stores in them. Not to mention the probability that most of McCains supporters probably buy their java at the expensive Dean & DeLuca :-)
