Game play inspires programmatic illustration
This is some great stuff. Somewhat similar to Joshua Davis' work, but the inspiration around this concept is new. Undoubtedly complex layering techniques, but the coolest aspect of this art is in the process. The game play of "Unreal Tournament" is tracking players position coordinates. A proprietary script written by the author traces these coordinates to ultimately create what you see in the prints. The colors, composition and thought-process is fantastic.
