Japanese Packaging

Beautiful and Brilliant

Although Japan is known around the world for there elaborate and sophisticated packaging, these gorgeous examples shown below are not exactly eco-friendly. It would be great to see this creative thinking executed in a more environmentally conscious way. Putting this aside, one cannot ignore the details and beauty found in packaging here for truly eye-catching work.

PingMag explores several unique packaging solutions for gifts of confectionery products. All packaging designs have subtle and not-so-subtle reference to nature and include that extra special touch of 'complex simpleness' (no, that is not a typo).
